V2.39c failure of $put in $loop

The Export config

$put(v,SHOWSTWICE)$get(v)
$loop($put(v,FAILSTOSHOW))%_counter% $get(v)
$loopend()

doesn't show FAILSTOSHOW as expected.

Am I doing something wrong? Or could this be an app bug?
