Are you sure that the new Mp3tag version is the cause? You could try to install a previous version and check if it is really a version problem with Mp3tag.

Thank you for your feedback. It could also be that this topic is the cause that the newest Mp3tag version is showing more files - even those with errors - then before.

If I click on a file with a red X, it will turn into the icon associated with the video file. In this case, VLC media player (Orange cone). If I refresh the list, all of the red X's come back, and can be turned into cones once again. I hope this helps.
