Hi, I just signed up to the receive the mp3tag email notifications (wish I did this when I first bought it) but I got my first email today and it references:
The most basic thing you can do with Mp3tag is change the tags of one file. Just load a directory in Mp3tag using File → Change directory… — or CtrlD if you want to speed things up a little
I see this is not there on the Mac version. I wasn’t sure why - but I would love to have that feature on the Mac version is possible.
Please note that the course you've signed up for is for the Windows version. There are many subtle differences between the two versions.
@mjcm is correct, the counterpart for File → Change directory… is File → Open... on Mac. It's a little more advanced there, because it supports folders and files alike.
Yeah, I spoke about wanting that exact setting a week or two ago (I think in General Discussion). Try to open the last directory and if it doesn’t exist work down the tree -but- just open the File Open dialog as the parent directory (of the last opened directory) may have thousands of files in it.
