New to Mp3Tag so I apologize if this issue has been resolved or is not an mp3tag issue. I have thousands of mp3 files stored locally and all metadata displays correctly. I downloaded new mp3s and tried using the latest ver of mp3tag to enter the tag info. When I open the files with mp3tag, I can edit the tags and save the files, but new tag info does not show in Win 11 explorer. Any ideas?

TL;DR - I tried editing my youtube to mp3 downloaded files through mp3tag but this corrupted the files. If I removed the tag, the files would be okay again.

It’s required and often helps to reduce support cycles to check files for errors before filing a bug report.
Symptoms of erroneous files are often
missing or wrong bitrate or length
audible blips or skips
tags seem to be sticky and cannot be removed
There are some really good tools to check the files for errors, namely
