I have been using MP3 Tag for a while now and I love the program. I just started experiencing some problems writing Tag info to the files because they are locked by DbPowerAmp. I understand that the original program protected those fields and when separated from that program, they are read only. Searching online I found some suggestions but that didn’t work. One suggestion was to install the original program again but that would just propagate the problem. Any suggestions?
How are they locked by dbPA? I have been using their CD Ripper program for a very long time, then make all of my metadata changes with mp3tag without any issues. It is not a common issue to see audio files with any kind of “read only” metadata.
How did you find out that these pieces of information are read only?
Do you get any error messages?
