You have to leave the catalog # out of the search. That's the reason for the issue. On all of your examples this is the problem. There is no way to fix this. Not that it needs fixing as taking the cat # out in 2 of the 3 examples takes me to the adjust tag info dialog. Beatports own search doesn't work when the cat # is searched. https://www.beatport.com/search?q=4NYON3+-+Rotten+Humanity+EP+NRDR112 and NRDR112 :: Beatport fail.
hmm, strange reinstalled mp3tag and reapplied the 5.0 scripts and now it works. just tested some already tagged files to look for errors. 25/25 found with 5.0 scripts and the artist+ release script
Thanks for the new V5.0 scripts.
Using MP3tag v2.98 and trying to parse https://www.beatport.com/release/rescue-me/3128292
I'm missing Album and Year details and no artwork is populating.
Also when searching By Release the Search box has ([ SYNTAX ERROR IN FORMATTING STRING ]) in it
Please advise, Thanks in advance
This doesn't include the single track scripts yet or direct scripts. Just searching the releases and artwork.
Is this something you lot use? (the single track scripts) I'm finding very little use for it myself atm.
Would love to see the single track scripts, it's the only one I use (almost). I love the tagging through mp3tag with your script, so all the tracks for my radio station have the same output, and now I'm stuck... a bit
I just donated via paypal to you, btw. Have been using your script for a long time, and it was about time to get you some beers
That'll buy me a couple nice gun and tonics when normality kicks in. Thank you. I might get the single tracks done this weekend hopefully. I want to finish off the main release scripts first so it could be next weekend.
Just to report back, in the new scripts the INITIALKEY tag is written, but also the same info is written again a second time on COMMENT tag.
Dont know if that behavior is intended.
Also, i think the pop up window of "List of search results" needs to be redesigned now to something more practical. "ARTIST" column seems way off the end while it should be visible from the start.
Is there a way to organize which columns are shown?
In the scripts you'll find a section where you can disable this towards the bottom. Just place a # before each line. Hopefully it's obvious what to do. I'll disable this when I release the official non beta scripts. I'll sort of the artist columns by limiting the amount as I've noticed it can be quite large and check the location too.
Heya! I almost exclusively use the SINGLE TRACK Search by filename.
I even slightly modified the regex you used on the filename in v.4 to accommodate the naming scheme of the source where I got my tracks. The search release by filename completely fails (irrelevant results), and when trying to re-use the regex from the previous version to cleanup the filename, I end up with 404s
