@anton, my man, all works great! The latest changes finally left out the coding problems (a really frutrating bug). I'm amazed how much you improved/enhanced/fixed all the scrips in so short time, they're better than ever as I used for the first time. As @MONIKADAVRE said: thanks for all your hard work. Cheers!

It has been almost a month since i could not use metal archives.
The scripts return the same old "error connecting to" 403 forbidden error.
Does anyone have a fix/solution?

I have done a quick test on my end, and (as cliche goes) site is working on my end - both through web browser, as well MP3Tag (using various scripts).
By any chance are you using a previous version (i.e., a pre-April 18, 2025) of the scripts?
If so, could you please check again using latest versions of scripts? (don't forget to do backup of your current scripts)
This as since that version script's code has a specific change that was added aimed to, in some way, mitigate to CloudFlare issues (long story short: setting a user agent). I am not quite sure how much that actually helps, as the "403 error" is caused by Cloudflare's configuration on MA's site, but as far as I have read (and understand), using a user agent on scripts can help to have CF allowing connection to site.

@slayerist I used it fine (kind of) all day yesterday, I would see if you have the latest version of the script. @anton can you test if the band name "Tenue" is able to be searched using Band Info script, because this band and another I can't quite remember gave me this error "Sorry, no entries are matching your search criteria." All the other scripts work fine for this band.

Sure thing, Iâll take a look at that band later today (guess who arrived late to workplace today? lol).
If you can also provide the other bandâs name that would be awesome, just to check if there no additional issues to look into (lesson learned after dealing with the Unicode issues).

Unfortunately it has nothing to do with the scripts. I both tested the latest and previous versions.
Surely there is something wrong with metal archives end.

A quick update:
I think that I've found what the issue is (a weird one let me tell you), and have made some changes to script (not released yet). Nonetheless, I'll wait for other mentioned example to validate that there are no additional changes to be done.

Yeah, it seems that they've buffed (or are starting to buff) their CF configuration again.
Hopefully it'll be only a hiccup and things will go back to normal soon.
I checked, and it was the same artist that I was remembering lol. On the CF side, Hopefully it is just a hiccup as I have not yet had problems connecting.

If it's useful for you, try to use a VPN to dodge some of the CF blocking (as a user, I've been using australian IP's and all goes well, no blocking nor lagging).
That's a nice idea! To know beforehand what version to look up based in your own files

Unfortunately, after doing some tests about this, it looks that it won't be possible to implement due to available data provided by MA during search 
(current scripts are using pretty much all available fields).
Nonetheless, tomorrow I'll try a couple of additional tests to see if by using different filters we can get an album's track count, although I'm not having too many hopes, specially as there are no (obvious) options on the UI/web page that can be used for track count.
