[X] Group Save performs differently than Individual Save

I do tag import from file for multiple tracks.
BAND tag contains band members separated by ';'.

I perform Action->Replace ';' with '\\' on tracks.

I save all tracks by clicking on Save icon.

I examine a track's extended tags and observe that
the BAND tag has not been split into multiple BAND tags.

I save that file individually (only that file is selected).

I examine that track's extended tags and observe that
the BAND tag has been split into multiple BAND tags.

You should use action type "Split fields by separator" for this.

Yes, I an confirm that importing of multiple value content into one tag field needs manually saving of each file to make the splitting permanent and displayed by extended tag view.

As an aside, I think it true to say that this Save has no effect i.e. Save saves only changes made in the tag panel. Can anyone confirm?
