There are confirmation dialogs after all operations (for example Export Taginfo) except when creating Playlist from Selected/All files. Is this an oversight or as designed?

I think it's as designed 
Mostly, because notifications on automatic playlist creation would interfere with the notifications after saving. I know, this can easily be circumvented but it's currently not planned to add a dedicated option for this.
And on a side note: I wouldn't call this a bug

I agree, it's not a bug, I thought it might be an oversight and no one just bother to mention it... Because of the translation to Swedish I'm clicking away into areas where I have never been before...
