1 Enter text into Filter and press HOME
2 ALT-TAB, ALT-TAB to switch focus to another app and back

Expected: caret position and selection retained
Observed: caret moved to end, all characters selected

This is default behaviour when a drop-down field with edit functionality gets the focus.

Yet V2.44 did not do this.

I think apps should retain state, and I think the WIG agrees.

So I suggest the Mp3tag default behaviour should be to make no change to the state. Surely no-one can find the current behaviour useful or desirable.
