Hi all! I have a problem and I am not sure if there's a solution or if mp3tag can help me.
Some time ago I ripped many albums in .mp3 format and used mp3tag to edit all the tags by hand. Now I would like to rip the same albums in .flac, but have the .cue file with the same tags I added to the mp3 files.
Is it possible to obtain the .cue file from the mp3 files and use it to reproduce the .flac file I will rip? Or if I rip the albums in separated .flac files could I copy the tags from the .mp3 files to the .flac files?
Thanks in advance!
Yes.
ONly make sure that the source files and the target files are the same in order and number,
select all the source files in 1 go,
use Edit>Copy tags,
select all the target files in 1 go,
use Edit>Paste tags
and the tag data from the source files will be copied to the target files.
A solution for .cue-files could start with this thread:
That's great. Thank you so much!
