Cutting multiple embedded album covers at once

Hello, I'm new to MP3Tag and loaded several songs into the program. All of the songs show the correct album cover, but some say 1/20 (covers) or some other amount below the cover. When I put the files on a thumb drive to play in my truck, the files with one cover display correctly, but the files with 1/x play the same photo on every song that's not the correct cover. When I right click on the cover and 'cut' the cover, the number below the cover goes down one and displays the next (wrong now) cover. Is there a way to cut all of the covers at once and add the correct cover as the only one embedded in the song?

Each time I play songs in my mom's car I don't see the song's covers, except one album from Justin Bieber that the car shows its cover. Is there possibly something that should be mentionned in the songs tags so the car can detect their covers? Thanks in advance!

Before you rate the behaviour that you found as bug, it would be nice that you do all the basic checks of the files like file integrity, check the player requirements, check how other players show the same file, check which tag versions were in the files prior to using the web sources and afterwards check whether this happens to all pictures that you embed or just one release - such things. I doubt that MP3tag embeds picture in different ways.

and finally: for best separation of the files, the following tag fields should be filled:
ALBUMARTIST, ARTIST, ALBUM, TITLE, perhaps even TRACK

For only removing the covers:

Remove cover art using "Actions -> Remove fields" ???

You can also replace 1 or more existing covers in one go with an action of the type "Import cover from File" when you mark "Delete existing cover art".
