Discogs Genre Tagging Only?

Hi.

I would like to know if it's possible to tag albums with GENRE and STYLE only using Discogs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a way to change the Discogs tag source so that it writes Discog's STYLE field to the files GENRE tag and does not write the Discogs GENRE tag to the file at all. I find the Discogs STYLE tag much more useful and detailed so it would be great if I could have that automated instead of having to do that manually! Thanks

I have music without a genre tag or with incorrect genre tag. Now is tehre easy way to let mp3tag find the correct genre based on the title , artist , album infomation, and let mp3tag replace or add the genre for the new one. It would save so much time if that could be automated and get a more genre to the songs.

Another question in addition to the above:

Is it possible to fetch Discogs genre & style tags from the master release only without picking a certain release ?

Every album on Discogs has a master release without label and catalog #.

Here an example.

This goes for all the albums listed on Discogs or at least 99% of them.
