Fix: Genre field within the program

Hi Support, I would like to make a some suggestions. I think that you should have some tools to do certain things. Like being able to export the genre’s. Being able to change the Genre names.

Right now I am able to get around it using some other tricks I learned. But, it sure would be nice if your software was more accommodating. It does a great job for everything else though.

Change Genre names:

Add custom user-defined Genres

Add and Edit user-defined Genres via Custom List Values Every field on the Tag Panel can have custom values added to its drop-down list. These can be customized via Options → Tag Panel and the Genre field is no exception. it sure would be nice if your software was more accommodating.

It is unfortunate that you have come up with some steps as a solution for a problem you yourself brought forward, while seeking support from the community here and going so far as to suggest mp3tag should be more accommodating. The whole point of this forum is to share experiences so we can all benefit.
