Length Field display

I have some files where the song LENGTH is not being displayed. When I look at the properties of the file inder the TAG lable in the Version field it says "ID3v2.3 ERROR: MP3 header parse error (ID3v1 ID3v2.3)" and "Length: 00:00 (0)"

Please explain and/or correct

MP3tag is only the messenger. These files are damaged.
You can try whether the tools linked by @Doug_Mackie can still do anything.

Downloaded and installed MP3 Diags. Not a very intuitive app and very technical with regard to all aspects of the MP3 file structure and associated TAG elements. Fortunately, I am technically oriented so was able to figure out the repair process and apply the "transformation" to the affected files. This corrected whatever was impacting the MP3 Tag display to reveal the Lenth field properly
