Hi, very happy with mp3Tag on my old MacBook, though in migrating to my new mini I note that I cannot use the 'Rename files based on Tags' option. Looks like mp3tag has not got permission to alter file names, and whilst I have looked through all options struggling to find a clear answer. Appreciate any support anyone can provide - note I am not an IT super user

Unfortunately, you do not tell us how you noticed this behaviour and which options you looked through.

Can't access file via secure bookmark

Hi Florian, Thanks for the greatly useful app. It's a perfect app to organize tag for my music library. I have an issue with the app when using it on my second Macbook, though. When trying to edit any metadata, it's said that I can't access the file on my external hard drive. I already gave Mp3Tag full disk access on Security & Privacy. Many thanks for response, I noticed the behaviour when trying to use 'Rename files based on Tags'? Are you advising I need to list everything I have read to solve? Thanks for the pointer, upon reading I have tried loading files as opposed to selecting folder and this works. Many thanks

It makes it easier to answer if some approaches can be ruled out as they apparently do not lead to success. Otherwise you read everything at least twice and the effort to help you was in vain.
