Use the numbering wizard Ctrl-K and do not reset the track number on any condition.
Exactly, the filename has to be created with a convert function from the tag data.
Any activated function below "Tracknumber" should be de-activated to get an ascending number
this is new software to me sadly. The FILENAME is in the headings when the files are opened - you say I need to CREATE FILENAME?
I am lost sadly - please guide me more and what expressions I need…..
Thank you
Do you want the filenames to just be 01.mp3, 02.mp3, 03.mp3, ... or do you want to keep anything what's already part of the filenames now?
Please try to be a little more specific, and maybe even show screenshots. We have a pinned topic Hints for asking Support Requests in Support which should give you an idea.
Hello…currently the name is 01 Love me slowly.
I would like the number/song title as indicated.
This would be from 01 to how many are all all the folders…
If 100, they would be from 01-100 from all the folders….
Folder ONE could be 01-17
Folder TWO could be 18-27
Folder THREE could be 28-40
For all selected files try Convert>Tag-Filename
Format string: $num(%_counter%,2)_%_filename%
This leaves the filename as it is and preceeds it with an increasing number.
thank you. Appreciated
