I am still having this problem. I check for updates and it says I’m on the latest version. I’m using :

The bug is supposed to be fixed with the latest beta:

Are album artworks offline for Musicbrainz?
No, not completely (26.02.2025, 15:30 CET)
The partnering CoverArtArchive is sometimes not the fastest source for album artworks.
You can check it easily by yourself if you call the musicbrainz.org website and have a look at the "recently added" section:
The more "Image not available, please try again later" placeholder you see, the slower the CAA responds currently.
