Without going into too much detail, my innioasis G5 media player, is rendering old album names, when importing music from a single album of around 300 tracks, instead of creating a single album called best, it creates 5 albums, one of which has the majority of tracks and is called best, 2 of the other 4 'albums' have album names of previous album names I have used, which no longer exist, the other 2 'albums' have the album names of the album that the track was originally sourced from, but all tracks have test as the album name, the album artist is various. I use the Hiby app as the music player, my thoughts are that this behaviour is caused by erroneous meta data. Should I delete all Metadata from this album and then re create the album with album name and genre, all other tags are not needed.
P.S. all 5 albums have the correct test cover artwork
There are so many unanswered requests for more information in the other thread that I would assume that if you answer those you get much closer to a solution.
TBH I do not see
You ask about a local, individual problem - and as noone can look over your shoulder you would have to transfer your local environment here into the forum.
This means: supply screenshots, describe the steps that you already took and their outcome and what you actually expected.
Make it easier for the rest of us.
not sure where the problem was, but deleting all metadata with foobar, then recreating the albums with mp3tag, has worked so far for 3 albums, not splitting anymore, so will progress with the other albums.....
