There are no real \\ in your tags. This two \\ are only a visual representation that you have multiple tags with the same name in your track. Please press Alt+T on your music file and check the multiple ARTIST Tags with different content in your case. Therefore you can not replace the non-existen…

If you are on Mac please use the matching support forum. I will change it for you. (As I have no Mac keyboard I can't tell you the combination. You could use the menu View -> Extended Tags).

Only very few players can cope with more than 1 field of the same type. So it depends on the features of your player what to use.
