The file is m4a, and other albums do show the year and copyright, but this one is the only one that never wants to show. It does sometimes show, but other times doesn't (I use other tagging sources to figure this out). When I see what's missing, I try to manually add it, but it never shows. Now I think about it, I have an idea.
Also, I've been noticing with that song that what Apple Music has for the artist always changes on MP3TAG. I had to edit it to be the way Apple Music shows. When I use an API it changes the artists to BABYMETAL & Electric Callboy, when on Apple Music it shows it like this: BABYMETAL, Electric Callboy. I'm not really sure what's going on or what to do when I even use an URL script and it gives me the BABYMETAL & Electric Callboy tag, not the other one.
I'm very close to giving up on this tag as it's not made sense to me anymore.
Actually, if I can find a good source that gives me all that info, I would like to be linked. I'm not sure what sources to use anymore.
All I can say is the iTunes web source is the best so far, but some things aren't I'm assuming syncing across when Apple Music updates the cloud library, or if it's just human error, but I'm getting a little exhausted with some albums showing the release year, copyright and other little details.
You should ask Apple or the record label. Anyway, I have updated the scripts, so try those. Remember to set the settings in each scripts to your needs.
I don't think this a problem mp3tag can help you with. If the information has been stored correctly that is the end of the requirement. From there you need to verify if both devices are truly synced to the updates you have made.
Sometimes it is easier if you can remove the tracks completely and sync, then add them back again toi capture your changes.
I have checked after the sync, and it does show. But when it comes to the phones versions of Apple Music, somethings get lost and that's what's confusing me the most.
Are you sure this is a local file, and not one that is streamed from Apple directly? This is usually how Apple Music works so your tag data will not get passed along that way.
[Edit : I think this used to be called iTunes Match or something like that before they renamed everything to Apple Music.]
Yes, it's a local file. And once I do the edits, the Apple Music loses some tags once it's syncs to the phones.
It is also m4a file as well.
