Depends if you followed the notes on switching between the bit-versions:
hmmmm...so I go back to 32bits then....that's a bummer.
The linked thread describes that you can switch from 32 to 64 bit if you backup the configuration first, de-install the 32-bit version, install the 64-bit version and then restore the configuration.
That is exactly what I did.
I had the 32bits installed. decided to installed the 64, so uninstalled the 32bits and then installed the 64bits. And got the message.
Please use the search function which returns a couple of threads with the search words "staging sparse package".
It is hard to say if really all got removed from the registry e.g. if there has also been a mixture of standard and portable installation.
ok..I uninstalled everything.
installed the 32bits, uninstalled the 32bits...rebooted...installed the 64bits with no error.
But I lost the context menu in the explorer.
ok..I installed the 64bits again ( without any uninstall ) and now I have the context menu
my god I hate windows !!!
