I have mp3tag installed on a Windows 11 laptop. Today l somehow accidentally moved the tag panel to the top of the window without understanding how I had done this. It was then above the data/file list columns (and just below the menu bar) and covered the entire width of the window. I couldn't find anything specific related to moving the panel back to the left of the file list columns in the online help. However, I had an older version of mp3tag on another Windows 10 laptop, and figured out that the very thin double line to the left or above the tag panel can be "grabbed" to drag the panel to a new position. I suggest that this should be clearly stated in the online help menu for mp3tag. I had been using mp3tag for many years and this had never happened to me before.
Could this one help?
Or you can drag the small line on top of the Tag Panel
![]()
or on the left
![]()
and move it back - for example - to the left side or further down on the left side of Mp3tag.
Thank you...it took me awhile, but I finally figured out how to use the thin lines to drag the panel to a new position. I modified my support request to say this.
Would you have found it?
There are a number of threads already that deal with a newly positioned tag panel, e.g. here:
or here:
So the problem and the solution is already documented.
For future readers:
This AniGif could help how to use the drag & move function for the Tag Panel inside Mp3tag

(By the way: this technique also works for the Filter - activated with F3)
