Track date from title and artist

I have made a collection of 70's singles. It comprises 1 album, 115 discs and 2286 tracks. I am trying to populate the "Year" tag of all of the mp3's automatically. This is obviously not a known album, and the album artists are various.
Does anyone know how I could search and populate the "Year" tag from the "Artist" and "Title" tags?
