Unnecessary Warning Stalls Process

hello
When performing a batch processing operation
The warning

file <> can't be found
Do you wish to continue?

Occasionally pops up
The process is then stalled until I click yes or no
With a large batch operation which can take several hours without interruption running overnight, this can be very irritating since I don't sit and stare at my computer screen for hours on end waiting for these rare warnings to pop up. Hence the operation can be stalled for hours or even days at a time for no logical reason.

Suggestion
Give the user the option to ignore such warnings automatically and put them in a log file which can be accessed on completion of the batch operation

How could it be that you just loaded files and now they cannot be found anymore?
I would have a serious look at the circumstances that lead to such an error message.

(This does not touch your suggestion itself)

Thank you for your suggestion
Unfortunately, to implement your suggestion i would have to know how mp3tag is built and what criteria it uses to recognise files and their tags.
I am not an IT expert and most certainly not as skilled as the programmers who built this very useful application,
The files concerned actually display in the list within mp3tag, however instead of the icon for the media player I am using displaying in the first column there is a red circle with a white cross, therefore mp3tag is actually recognising that the files exist but cannot edit them.
A workaround for this problem is to remove the affected files from the list and the batch will run uninterrupted

That's the (new) indicator that the file exists, but can not be modified by Mp3tag due to errors.
You should check and fix such files first.

You can filter F3 for such damaged files for example with
%_TAG_READ% HAS ERROR

Thank you for your helpful response
You are correct this is not an issue with mp3tag but an issue with the files themselves, mp3tag helpfully highlights the files for investigation
I have checked the files concerned, they are all either avi or mkv (note that other avi or mkv files are editable)
All the affected files will play in my media player with no issue. When I attempt to convert the files from avi or mkv to mp4, in some cases only the audio of the converted file plays and in other cases the media player crashes when trying to play the converted file
It would still be useful to have a log file after a batch run which highlights errors like this and gives the path and filename
Thank you once again
