Where to save the "genre" tag

sorry the question sounds dumb, but i really dont know how to search for it

i know somewhere in the settings the genre tags can be saved, so when filling out the genre field it pulls from memory and makes it quicker to fill out as i dont have to write it everytime

i forgot where in the settings and couldnt find by myself

Genre deleted if any other tag is changed

using version 3.21 / windows 10 22h2 since this last update to .21, whenever i change any field the "genre" get deleted (blank) doesnt matter if i changing the title, the song number, if i copy the tags to the filename or add or remove an album art any change erases the genre field
