For some reason the Tracks part stopped working in v2.62 (it was still fine in v2.61a)...
Anyway, I worked around it, it seems OK so far with the few albums I've tried. :slight_smile:

Many thanks for your prompt action. However it's still not quite right :frowning:

Example: Album 'I Am... Sasha Fierce' (Beyoncé)

Track List;

  1. Disc One
  2. If I Were a Boy
    .....
  3. Disc Two
  4. Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)

Also I'm still getting double listings (tracks) for some albums.

Example: Album 'Absolute Music 4'

Track list has 2 entries for each track. 36 total (should be 18!).

Hope you can fix it!

I think I've solved the problem when there are disc names like in the Beyoncé album you mentioned.
I haven't figured out the "doubled tracks" issue yet... but it's quite late for me now so I'll get on it when I'm more awake. :wink:

In the meantime, the updated version that removes prevents "discs as tracks":

Hi, not used this before today but I'm having issues, it seems to work for albums that have album art, but ones that don't all the values are blank, any ideas?

I guess they changed something in their HTML again, I'll have a look.

EDIT: OK, they have changed everything to make their layout phone-friendly... this is going to be fun. I'll try to cover as many types of albums as I can, but basically I have to redo everything, so expect some mistakes. :wink:

Here we go!

Download RYM script v.04

Tested with:

  • "Regular" albums (1 artist + basic tracks, tracks with Featuring)
  • Albums without tracks
  • Splits (1 album, 2 artists)
  • Multiple discs (tested with the Beyoncé "Sasha Fierce" album mentioned before)
  • Various Artists (tested with Kill Bill Vol.1 and the Absolute Music 4 example from before)
  • Artists with non-latin characters (e.g. Japanese)

I also solved the "duplicate artists" problem (at least it works with the example from before).

Hopefully that covers most cases...

It used to work fine, but then all of a sudden the RYM tracklist stopped appearing :/.
I tried updating mp3tag and downloading the latest RYM script, but nope :frowning:
It does display them in the search results though.

That's odd, it seems to be working for 91JK... is that with all albums or specific ones?

I wasn't getting the cover image in the album details, it's fixed.

The rateyourmusic script is not working properly any more, track name information is shown in the search but not loaded. Could you please fix it?

I don't have this problem on all albums... can you give me an example of one that doesn't work for you? Just to help me pinpoint the right pattern.

Update: seems to be working on one of my computers (Windows 8) and not on the other (Windows 7)... perhaps the problem is only with me?
