When loading a single Album, I have to manually fit columns to size. Is it possible to write a script so that the software autofits these columns on loading the Album/Albums? without using, for instance, Ctrl and Numpad + to resize all columns.
This is not possible inside Mp3tag.
These possibilities are still valid:
I searched the Forums, but could not find this answer,
and also MP3Tag has had significant updates since the old 'answers' too.
I am looking for a way, to resize certain columns only,
to "AUTO-Fit" the content, eg. I only want Artist - Title - Year - Publisher
to have this option turned on.
Is there a method to achieve this?

This feature would not be a good extension if you load more files than a couple of dozens.
Even for collections of some 10,000 files it would take a lot of time to find the best column width, not to mention collections with 6-digit-number of files.
I don't know: have you ever tried to even open Windows Explorer with a folder that shows 10,000 files? You'll regret it. Takes literally hours.
That is jus my fear.
Any way: see e.g.

Some kind of "reset columns" would be really great. This could be the size of the column header or some size in pixels, set in the configuration per column.
I just pressed CTRL+NUM+ and now my Lyrics column is huuuuge - I need several screens side-by-side to see the end of the text and the next columns
