How to save album art

I have been with struggling Album Art Downloader in Mp3tag. I have it installed, know how to find album art. The cover shows up in the tagpanel, I save it (i think) but then when I reopen the file no cover is shown. What am I doing wrong?

You can see the wanted cover in Mp3tag in the Tag panel on the left side?
Then you save it with Ctrl + S or a click on the blue floppy disc symbol in the Toolbar?

If you reload the song and press Alt + T (View -> Extended Tags) you can not see the cover? The cover square in the upper right corner is empty?

Set the option to not display pictures from the directory:
grafik

Use the filter
%_covers% MISSING
to find files without embedded picture

Thanks. Yes the option Don't display etc. was checked. I have it unchecked now.
The cover shows up in the extended tagpanel.
How do I set this option you mention?

Enter

in the filter box at the bottom of the MP3tag window.
Ideally, no file will appear in the file list as that means that all the loaded files have embedded pictures.
If files appear in the file, then they still need pictures to be embedded.

Thanks a lot.
I can't find a filterbox in the tagpanel.

In addition to my cover question: I can find the album art on the web, when I click on a track it shows up. Will it save automatically? When I save with CTRL-S it takes a long time to do so when there are a lot of tracks selected. When I don't save it show up all the same in my controlpoint so it must be somewhere in the files.

As I said:

which is not the bottom of the tag panel Press F3 to see where the filter pops up.

I don't understand what you do.
How do you find the album art?
Why do you click where on a track?
As you mentioned

which is also the name of a 3rd party program, I am a little lost.
Are you referring to a web source script? And if so: which one?

Sorry. The missing cover trick doesn't seem to work for me.
I work with Album Art Downloader. It finds the album art for me and shows the cover in the tag panel when I activate a track.

What does not work with this "trick"?
Do you have embedded covers or not?
Again: as I cannot look over your shoulder experience tells that a screenshot helps in a lot of cases.

How do I upload a printscreen? I have made one but can't find a button to upload it.

If you're looking for an alternative to that, you can try my Mp3tag tool which queries this site.

Once set up, you click on a song in Mp3tag and press CTRL+1 (or which tool number you have saved it as) and a new tab in your browser opens up with results for the artist and album of the active song in Mp3tag.

Thanks
I'll give it a try.
