Mp4: No longer any tag changes supported

As of today, i could no longer edit any tags for mp4 files, downloaded with the latest Audials22. mp3 is ok.
I installed also the latest mp3tag - still no change. When saving any tag changes, the message comes up that the file could not be written. Subsequently there is a tmp file in the folder for each file for which write was tried.

I only have Windows defender active.

Have you checked the files for consistency?
See suggestions for tools here:

You probably need Foobar2000 to check mp4 files.

Did you convert the files with some kind of online service?
Then it is fairly likely that you got files with an invalid format back.

Any solution here? I´ve got the same issue...
Checked all files and they seem to be ok. While MP3 tags can be written, MP4 tags can not written any more.
