V3.27a Context menu missing

Hi. Just updated to v3.27a and firstly I installed the 64 bit version which didn't properly uninstall the previous 32 bit version. I went to the MP3 Tag 32 bit folder and ran the uninstall .exe but it kept telling me that MP3 Tag was running, although I couldn't find any instances of it running using Task Manager. I took a chance and just deleted the folder as the .exe for the 32-bit version wasn't listed in my apps on the Start menu. This seemed fine. However, when I ran MP3 Tag, I couldn't find any reference to it in the Explorer context menu. This remained true even after a restart. Since then, I've uninstalled and re-installed both 32 and 64 bit versions, restarting every time but, even though the context menu option is definitely ticked when installing, it is not present.

In fairness, this is the first time Ever, that I have had an issue. Is it just me or is this a known issue?

Please make sure to follow these notes when moving from the 32-bit install to a 64-bit install.

And

This has been posted several times, see the below thread for the most recent conversation with suggestions to restore this in the context menu.

I've read all the info given in the suggested thread about this, but nothing I do returns the context menu.

There are several other threads about this. Maybe there is more there that applies to your specific issue. Seems MS has made the context menu a much more complicated thing than it should be.

O.K. Just managed to reinstate it using the suggested two Administrator Command Prompts:

  1. cd C:\MP3 Tag Installation folder (The folder path on your PC that MP3 Tag is installed in)
  2. regsvr32 Mp3tagShell.dll

Hope I don't have to do this every update
